LIST: Winners of the FAMAS Awards 2025
The 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards has named its winners.
FAMAS, the oldest existing film industry award-giving body in the Philippines, recognizes the "achievements in Philippine cinema for a calendar year."
The biopic Mamay: A Journey to Greatness, about Marcos Mamay, the beloved mayor of Nunungan, Lanao Del Norte, was a big winner at the awards night that took place at the Manila Hotel last Aug. 22. The film took home four awards: Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Musical Score.
Green Bones, which is among those being considered as the Philippines' official entry to the 98th Academy Awards, won Best Screenplay.
Meanwhile, actress Marian Rivera took home her first FAMAS award after she was named Best Actress for her role in Balota.
Other notable winners included Arjo Atayde's film Topakk and director JL Burgos' Alipato at Muog, which both won two awards each.

FAMAS Circle of Excellence Award: Vilma Santos
German Moreno Youth Achievement Awardees: Atasha Muhlach and Andres Muhlach
Dr. Jose Perez Memorial Awardee: Pep.ph
FPJ Kontrabida Memorial Awardee: Dindo Arroyo
