Entrepreneur and content creator Josh Mojica said that he is taking full responsibility for his actions after the Land Transportation Office suspended his driver's license after he used his cellphone while driving a sports car.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Mojica confirmed that he was the driver whom the LTO issued a show cause order to for taking a video of himself driving a Porsche and subsequently uploading it on social media.

"No excuses. That was my mistake. I take full responsibility," Mojica said. "I understand the weight of influence. I know people watch how I move, not just in business, but in life. That’s a responsibility I carry every day, and I let that slip in this moment."

"Let me be real, the video that sparked this? It was me, recording a quick selfie inside a Porsche. Not to show off but to lock in a moment I never thought I’d reach this early," he added.

Mojica, who is known for founding Kangkong Chips Original, went on to share that the vehicle was a "milestone" for him, but admitted that he "slipped."

"To the youth watching: Don’t copy my mistake. Don’t copy the driving. Copy the mindset. Copy the grind. Copy the fact that I earned that car, not the way I held the phone inside it," he implored.

Mojica ended by saying he's "committed to being better" and that he's sticking to riding in the back seat for now.

On July 5, LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II called Mojica's actions "a clear violation of road safety rules."

"Anuman ang klase ng sasakyan na minamaneho ay dapat matuto pa rin tayong sumunod sa mga batas trapiko. If the driver is indeed a content creator, then there is this responsibility for him to set a good example to his followers," he said.

"We already suspended the driver’s license of the identified driver for 90 days pending the result of the investigation," he added.

On top of the suspension, Mojica is also liable for at least three charges: reckless driving, violation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act, and being an Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.

The last violation has a maximum penalty of revocation of the driver’s license.

Mojica has now been asked to appear before the LTO Central Office and submit an explanation as to why they should not be held administratively liable.

The Porsche was also placed under alarm.
