Jerry Yan was reportedly seen visiting the grave of his Meteor Garden onscreen partner, Barbie Hsu.

Taiwanese media outlet Next Apple News reported that the actor went to Chin Pao San Cemetery in New Taipei on Aug. 13. He was with former actress Janet Chia, the chairperson of Taiwan’s Taipei 101, and her husband, businessman Wang Chao-chieh.

The trio was seen reading the inscriptions on Hsu's grave, with Yan wiping away his tears as Chia patted his shoulder, per the publication.

Chia also reportedly said, “Shancai, Daoming Si has come to see you,” referring to the names of their Meteor Garden characters.

Yan, Chia, and Wang then placed their hands together in prayer and stayed for over 10 minutes before leaving.

Chia and Wang left in the same car, while Yan reportedly went alone to Jinshan District to dine at a vegetarian café in honor of Hsu, who had long been a vegetarian.

According to Next Apple News, there was also an umbrella stand near Hsu's grave, believed to be used by her husband, South Korean DJ Koo.

Hsu died of pneumonia on Feb. 2 after contracting influenza during a Lunar New Year celebration in Japan. She was 48.

She rose to fame in Meteor Garden, starring alongside the boy group F4, comprising Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic Chou. She also appeared in the television series Mars (2004), Corner with Love (2007), and Summer's Desire (2010).

Hsu retired from acting after marrying Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei in 2011. The couple had two children before divorcing in November 2021.

Hsu then rekindled her relationship with Koo, whom she dated in the late '90s. They got married in March 2022.
