Andi Eigenmann finishes sixth in all-women surfing competition in Siargao
Andi Eigenmann is a proud surfer after she finished sixth place in an all-female surfing competition in Siargao.
"Stoooked! Made my first ever finals at Queen of the Point -- Cloud 9! Placed 6th! Yiiw!" Eigenmann said in the caption of her Instagram post.
The carousel included photos of her riding the waves, posing with fellow surfers who wore tiaras, and tender moments with children and other women.
"Grateful beyond words to share the lineup with such powerful, inspiring women both from Siargao and from other parts of the world," she added.
Eigenmann expressed her "big big love" and "special thanks" to the organizers, particularly the Queen of the Point founder Carla Zamora, "for creating this space that celebrates sisterhood, strength, and the beauty of women’s surfing."
She also gave a shoutout to her partner, champion surfer Philmar Alipayo, "for lending his surfer hat" to her and their daughter Lilo, who was the youngest surfer who joined a competition on the island last year.
Eigenmann then endearingly listed down Alipayo's roles that showed him being supportive throughout, including being their "designated driver, surf coach, photo and videographer, stuff carrier, feeder, water guy, cheerleader."
Eigenmann moved to Siargao in 2017.
She first went public with her relationship with Alipayo a year later. They got engaged in 2020.
In April 2024, Eigenmann said their wedding would be postponed following the death of her mother Jaclyn Jose in March of that year.
Aside from Lilo, they have a son named Koa. Eigenmann also has a daughter named Ellie with actor Jake Ejercito.
