Say hello to our new Miss Universe Philippines queen!

Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province clinched the highly coveted crown during the coronation night on Friday, May 2, besting 65 hopefuls.

During the question-and-answer portion, the beauty queen was asked about an event in her life when she led by example and the impact it made.

"I fell a while ago on stage. The thing with me is, whenever I fall in life, I always make sure I come back stronger," she said. "Last year, I was here on this stage, and for the second time this year, I'm here putting everything on this stage to be Miss Universe Philippines, because this is mine and my grandmother's shared her dream, and she passed away early this year. This is my ode to her."

Manalo looked stunning in a Val Taguba number during the evening gown competition. She matched it with a bun and smokey eye makeup as well as pearl accessories.

At the preliminaries, Manalo wore purple swimwear with a violet cape by Albert Andrada during the swimsuit competition.

She then stunned at the preliminary round's evening gown segment in a dazzling yellow gown.

For the folklore-themed national costume segment at the prelims, she opted to dress as TikTik. Her costume, designed by Ehrran Montoya, featured wing-like accents and bedazzled birds as the headdress.

A pageant veteran, Manalo joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2018 and represented the country at the Miss International pageant in the same year. She finished first runner-up in the tilt.

Last year, she joined the Miss Universe Philippines pageant and placed second runner-up. She competed in the Miss Cosmo pageant and concluded her journey to the crown in the Top 10.

Following her MUPh 2025 win, Manalo will represent the Philippines at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Thailand on Nov. 21.

At the coronation night, she was followed by Winwyn Marquez of Muntinlupa (1st runner-up) and Yllana Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna (2nd runner-up). Sultan Kudarat's Chelsea Fernandez was announced as Miss Philippines Cosmo 2025, while Taguig’s Katrina Llegado was crowned Miss Philippines Supranational 2025. Gabriella Carballo of Cebu was named Miss Philippines Eco International 2025. Check out our full coverage of the MUPh 2025 competition here.
