Newlyweds Zeinab Harake and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. disclosed how much their viral five-foot wedding cake exactly cost amid unfounded rumors that it was worth P2 million.

In a guesting on the June 18 episode of GMA Network's Unang Hirit, the content creator and basketball player talked about their big day while cooking beef sinigang on live television.

Host Juancho Trivino noted how their wedding cake has gone viral, making them chuckle.

"Magkano ba talaga 'yon?" Trivino asked.

"Ay, kayo po talaga, huwag po kayo masyadong naniniwala sa mga repost at post ng mga kung ano-anong page," Harake said, alluding to the rumors. "Hindi po totoo 'yan, dahil sobrang sayang naman."

Parks, meanwhile, quietly nodded.

"Lumabas sa online is P2 million, pero ang totoong presyo niyan," Harake said, before turning to Parks and saying, "Mahal, tell them."

"120-K," he said, with Harake reiterating, "One hundred twenty thousand (pesos)," as they both smiled at the camera.

"Very beautiful, but very affordable," Parks noted.

"Kayang-kaya," Harake added.

Their customized wedding cake was from the Makati-based Honey Glazed Cakes. The brand told PhilSTAR L!fe that the couple ordered an all-white fondant cake accentuated with a mix of white sugar flowers that were all handcrafted and airbrushed with edible glitters. It took two weeks to make.

Since Harake and Parks's cake went viral, there have been unfounded rumors about its price, reaching as high as P2 million.

The brand has denied such rumors, saying it's “not an extravagant 2 million creation,” as they make it a point to fulfill their clients' dreams “within a reasonable budget.”

Honey Glazed Cakes has made custom cakes for different celebrities, including Vice Ganda and Diana Zubiri. It said prices for customized cakes start at P8,500, but noted that prices may reach the five-digit mark depending on the design, size, and number of tiers, most of which are made for special occasions like weddings.

Harake and Parks got married in Tagaytay on June 1. Parks popped the question in July 2024, while Harake also made her own proposal to him two months after.

They announced their relationship in 2023, and are co-parenting Harake's daughter Bia with rapper Skusta Clee and her adopted son, Lucas.
