Is romance brewing between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau?
The pop superstar and the former Canadian Prime Minister sparked dating rumors after being spotted having dinner together.
According to PEOPLE, the two stepped out for a meal at a restaurant called Le Violon in Montréal, Canada, on Monday, July 28, where they met chef Danny Smiles and headed to the kitchen to greet the staff.
TMZ also reported that the Roar singer and the former politician enjoyed cocktails and several dishes together.
The two have yet to comment on the dating speculations, which came one month after Perry and her former partner Orlando Bloom confirmed their split. They were in an on-and-off relationship for nine years.
Citing the former couple's representative, PEOPLE reported that they agreed on a co-parenting setup for their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016. They broke up a year later and rekindled their romance in 2018. They got engaged the following year.
Trudeau and his wife Sophie Grégoire, a former Canadian television host, called it quits in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They have three children: Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
