GALLERY: Binibining Pilipinas 2025 ladies captivate in their national costumes
The national costume competition of Binibining Pilipinas is always a highly anticipated segment, and the 61st edition did not disappoint.
Each delegate took to the stage, showcasing designs that represented their provinces.
"Each group brought something unforgettable, celebrating heritage, diversity, and the vibrant soul of the Philippines," Binibining Pilipinas wrote on Facebook.
The costumes narrated tales of legends, traditions, and natural wonders. They showcased everything from indigenous tribes to historical figures, including Batangas's poet Francisco Balagtas and Bulacan's "Master Photographer" Mang Ador Cruz, alongside homages to Marikina's renowned shoe collection.
During the coronation night held on June 15 at the Araneta Coliseum, one costume captured the hearts of the judges and the audience: the fiery red gown worn by Antique's Blessie Villablanca.
Her winning "Diosa Speciosa" costume, inspired by Antique's Rafflesia flower, featured vibrant red hues and detailed floral designs that perfectly captured nature's power and beauty.
