Heaven Peralejo opens up about split with Marco Gallo
Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo have broken up.
The actress revealed that she and Gallo have called it quits, saying it was a mutual decision.
"We're not together anymore. It was a mutual decision to move forward individually," she said in an interview with entertainment reporters, as seen in showbiz reporter MJ Marfori's YouTube channel.
The Rain in España star noted that despite parting ways, they remain good friends.
"We're okay, we're good friends. Sana of course maintindihan po 'yan ng mga taong nagmamahal sa amin and tuloy-tuloy pa rin po 'yung pag-suporta kahit we are on different paths na," she said.
"Before naman po naging kami, we were good friends and so 'yon 'yung foundation namin eh and it was a mutual decision," she added.
When asked about how she feels about working with Gallo in future projects, she said that she understands that they both need to give each other time. "Pero once we see each other naman and when we see each other, okay kami, parang walang nagbago," she said.
Peralejo added that she's now okay, saying that she relies on her family and best friend as her support system.
Peralejo and Gallo met as housemates during the Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2016. They reunited seven years later as co-stars in the series The Rain in España.
Over the years, the two remained tight-lipped about their real score. Peralejo first opened up in 2023 about wanting to keep their relationship private.
“Ako personally, mas gusto ko, kung meron man something sa amin, kung ano man ‘yung status namin, if meron, I would prefer to keep it sa amin lang,” she said at the time. “Kung ano man ‘yung napo-post namin sa social media is what you see is what you get pero sa status, kung ano man kami, I’d rather keep it to ourselves.”
