Sue Ramirez recalls viral video of her sharing kiss with Dominic Roque in Siargao
Sue Ramirez looked back on the viral moment when she and Dominic Roque were spotted sharing a smooch at a bar in Siargao just before they confirmed they were dating.
Speaking with the media, the actress was asked why she looked happy these past few weeks, to which she answered that Dominic is one of the reasons for her contentment.
"Dom has been making me happy and taking care of me. Shineshare niya 'yung interests niya with me. He also asks me what I want to do, kung ano 'yung mga interests ko. So far, nagjijive talaga 'yung mga interests namin," Sue said.
She wondered if their compatibility was because they share the same birthday on July 20.
The topic then moved to their kiss that made the rounds online, which the actress said wasn't the start of their love story. In the video, Sue was seen cupping Dominic's face and leaning in for a smooch while they were hanging out at a bar in Siargao.
"Hindi pa. Nag-uusap usap na po kami ng time na 'yun. But when I drink, I get too excited, eh ang pogi, kiniss ko," she joked.
While they were still not dating at the time, she noted that they were getting close to that stage. "Nagkakamabutihan na po kami."
The local star further clarified that the two of them did not plan their trip to Siargao together.
"It was actually my trip because I did a lot of films last year, so I wanted to take a break. So, talagang nakaplano 'yung one month ko sa Siargao. Since nag-uusap na kami noon ni Dominic, he asked me, 'Is it okay if I follow to Siargao? I want to get to know you more,'" Sue recalled.
Dominic officially confirmed his relationship with the actress in December last year.
Sue's ex-boyfriend Javi Benitez confirmed in November 2024 that they had "quietly" and "respectfully" broken up months ago. Dominic, on the other hand, parted ways with his ex-fiancée Bea Alonzo.
After going public with their romance, Dominic has been filling his Instagram account with sweet moments with Sue. He recently took her on her first Baguio big bike ride earlier in April. They also spent the Holy Week together in Bangkok, Thailand.
