When things get tough for rookie K-pop boy group Neo Tracks No. X, popularly known as NTX, the members lean on each other for support.

The group, who recently held their first promotional activities in the Philippines, shared what life was really like before the spotlight found them, and how their growing connection with international fans—especially Filipinos—is shaping their journey.

"We are practicing, producing, and making our choreographies a lot, all day, all night, but we are not [just a] business, [we are a] 'family-ship.' That's the power of this team," Yunhyeok said in an interview with PhilSTAR L!fe.

"During our hard moments, we would [do] sports, we play games, or we eat out," Rawhyun added through a translator.

When it comes to managing stress as bandmates, NTX's "secret weapon" is their youngest member, Eunho, who they jokingly said, "controls everything" and keeps them in check by telling them not to fight.

The group's creative process, on the other hand, is mainly led by their main producer Rawhyun, but each member's opinion is valued.

"We have respect for each other [as] members," Yunhyeok. told L!fe

A special connection with Filipino fans

NTX, composed of members Hyeongjin, Yunhyeok, Xiha, Changhun, Hojun, Rawhyun, Eunho, and Seungwon, debuted on March 30, 2021. They recently visited the country for a promotional tour in a free mall show in Ortigas.

They are also the first K-pop group to shoot a music video at the National Museum of the Philippines for the English version of their hit single, Over and Over.

"When you listen to this song, everyone can enjoy and follow this music," said Yunhyeok, the group's leader and main vocalist. "It has an easy melody."

On filming at the museum, they said they found Filipino culture "really holy."

"I heard we can't shoot there without special permissions, so it's such an honor for us. We are really grateful," he said.

The group said they're also looking forward to trying more activities in the Philippines, like eating balut and steak, and skydiving.

NTX in the future

Looking ahead, NTX members are eager to explore individual opportunities. For instance, they have a desire to try acting in K-dramas.

"We have our member who is definitely looking forward to being part of the K-drama with their very handsome looks, and I think this is something that Filipino fans would actually love," Rawhyun underscored.

He continued, "Also, we have another member, Changhun, who is a multi-talent, so he can show you different aspects of himself that can definitely get the charms of the Filipino fans."

NTX also mentioned that they hope to work with P-pop groups SB19 and BINI in the future.

As an emerging K-pop group, NTX describes themselves as a "multi-colored and multi-talented, diverse" group that can showcase all genres. They expressed their gratitude to their fans, a.k.a. NTFULs, and are excited to perform in a country globally known for its passionate K-pop fan base.

"Thank you so much for waiting for us. Despite the distance from the Philippines, we were very grateful that we had fans who had been waiting for us to arrive. Finally, that we're here, we are very excited to be on stage, to have more fun memories with our Filipino fans," Hyeongjin ended.
