G-Dragon denies dating rumors with TWICE's Sana
G-Dragon has dispelled dating rumors with TWICE member Sana.
In a statement obtained by the K-entertainment website Soompi, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, addressed the romance speculations, which began when the BIGBANG member tagged Sana on Instagram after he attended Coldplay's Korea concert. TWICE opened for the British rock band's Music of the Spheres World Tour in April.
The HOME SWEET HOME singer immediately deleted the post as more rumors came.
The agency said that the tagging was just a "friendly gesture" after they filmed for the YouTube show Dex and Sana's Fridge Interview together on April 14.
"Fridge Interview was filmed due to G-Dragon's friendship with Dex, and Sana's appearance was confirmed the day before filming," it said.
Galaxy Corporation added that they did not address the dating rumours earlier because it could have spoiled G-Dragon's appearance on the YouTube show.
After a seven-year hiatus, G-Dragon returned to the spotlight with his comeback song, Power, in October 2024. It was shortly followed by HOME SWEET HOME, a track featuring two of his BIGBANG bandmates, Taeyang and Daesung.
He recently visited the Philippines on May 17 for his Übermensch world tour following his concert, Act III: M.O.T.T.E., in 2017.
Born Kwon Ji-yong, G-Dragon debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG, one of K-pop's most successful boy bands, known for their songs Fantastic Baby and Bang Bang Bang.
