Sam Milby gets himself a Tesla for his birthday: 'I'm content'
Kapamilya actor and singer Sam Milby marked his 41st birthday with a new car.
In a video posted by his management, Cornerstone Entertainment, Sam shared a glimpse of his sleek new ride, expressing his excitement over its features.
"This is kind of my birthday gift to myself, I guess. After driving this for a week now, I’m super happy with it. Long range, ang bilis sobra," he said.
"You don’t have to worry about maintenance because there’s no oil change, there’s no engine. It’s so smooth, so fast, so quiet, I’m super happy with this car right now."
While he didn't disclose the unit, the Saving Grace actor went on to express his satisfaction with it.
"Sobrang okay siya. [There are] actually so many charging stations pala sa Pilipinas, so it’s not as scary as most people think. Sa ngayon, walang coding,” he said.
Sam also mentioned some downsides to his new car, like how there's no Google Maps or Waze on it. He also admitted that he’s still getting used to some of its features, particularly because almost everything is being controlled through digital screens.
Ultimately, Sam underscored that he is content with his gift to himself.
Apart from his new car, Sam regularly shares photos of his motorcycles on Instagram. He's part of Drama Moto Club, a group of celebrities sharing their passion for motorcycles and riding, alongside John Prats, Gerald Anderson, Jake Cuenca, Sancho delas Alas, and Marc Solis.
During its launch in November 2024, Tesla Philippines announced the pricing for its Model 3 sedan trims, which start at P2,109,000. The Model Y is also available in the country.
