Grid editing, finally: Instagram will soon allow you to rearrange posts on the app
Do you like curating your feed? Instagram will soon allow you to rearrange your photos regardless of when they are posted.
Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, announced on Thursday, June 12 that grid editing is one of the new features that will be launched on the app.
"We know creative expression can feel intimidating, especially when posting something to feed," he said. "We hope this added flexibility over how and where your content shows up helps you create and share without added pressure."

The move was first announced in January, with Mosseri saying it was to increase creator control on the social media platform.
To enjoy the feature, simply press and hold the post you want to reorder, select "Edit Grid," and drag and move posts anywhere in the feed. There will also be an "Undo" button in every edit grid session in case you wish to make more changes.
According to USA Today, Meta said users won't be able to reorder pinned posts. The outlet also reported that the feature is set to be rolled out on June 16.
