LIST: Winners of the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards
Crunchyroll, the American entertainment company with a focus on anime, has recently unveiled the winners of the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, marking the 9th annual celebration of anime's most beloved creators, performers, and storytellers.
Held at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan, the ceremony was graced by the biggest names in anime, music and pop culture, including an international slate of celebrity presenters such as Grammy-winning artist Gwinner Kacey Musgraves, Stranger Things stars Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo, global music sensation and anime collaborator J Balvin, and Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David, among others.
Returning for their third consecutive year, voice actress Sally Amaki and entertainer Jon Kabira hosted the event.
This year's awards set a new benchmark with 51 million votes cast by fans around the world. Among the 10 most engaged countries were Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US.
During the ceremony, the Japanese manga series Attack on Titan bagged the Anime Awards' first Global Impact Award for its monumental contribution to anime and global storytelling while celebrating the "visionary creators and groundbreaking works that have left an indelible mark on culture, history, and the hearts of audiences around the world."
Meanwhile, Solo Leveling, an anime television series based on Chugong's South Korean web novel of the same name, emerged as the grand winner, accumulating major awards, including Anime of the Year, Best New Series, Best Action, Best Ending Sequence, Best Main Character, and Best Scorem to name a few.
