This year's local tilt sees a few pageant veterans gracing the stage again, including Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Marie Aduana (Siniloan, Laguna), Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez (Muntinlupa City), and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 second runner-up and Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo (Quezon Province).
Also in the mix are Miss Globe 2022 semi-finalist Chelsea Fernandez (Sultan Kudarat) and Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 fifth runner-up Katrina Llegado (Taguig City).
The MUPh organization is now being led by Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida as its new National Director for Training and Development.
Details of the coronation night have yet to be unveiled.
Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan will crown her successor at the sixth edition of the pageant. The winner will then represent the Philippines at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Thailand on Nov. 21.
