Dolly De Leon to star in Apple TV+ comedy-thriller series ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’
Dolly De Leon will star in the upcoming Apple TV+ dark comedy-thriller series, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed.
International outlets Deadline and Variety reported that De Leon is the newest addition to the cast, starring alongside Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany. She will play the regular role of Detective Sofia Gonzalez in the upcoming series.
The series follows the story of Paula (Maslany), a "newly divorced mom who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer."
Other cast members include New Girl star Jake Johnson, who will play Karl, Paula's ex-husband.
The 10-episode half-hour series will be helmed by David J. Rosen and executive produced by David Gordon Green. More details about the cast and release date have yet to be unveiled.
De Leon recently starred in Season 2 of Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers alongside Nicole Kidman, Christine Baranski, and Henry Golding. She also appeared in the second season of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.
She made waves in the international scene for her role as Abigail in the 2022 film Triangle of Sadness (2022 and in the 2024 films Ghostlight and Between the Temples.
In the Philippines, she has taken on notable roles, including the films A Very Good Girl and Iti Mapukpukaw, and the limited staging of Request Sa Radyo with starred Lea Salonga.
