LIST: Malls, establishments offering temporary shelter, free overnight parking on July 22

Published Jul 23, 2025 7:57 am Updated Jul 23, 2025 8:02 am

The low-pressure area located East of Northern Luzon in the Philippines has developed into Tropical Depression "Dante."

According to the 5 p.m. weather advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, heavy rainfall is expected due to the southwest monsoon enhanced by Dante.

Moreover, the enhanced southwest monsoon will also bring strong to gale-force gusts over various areas, especially in coastal and upland regions exposed to winds, such as Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, the Visayas, and the Dinagat Islands, to name a few.

As heavy rains and floods continue to affect the country, malls and other establishments are offering temporary shelter and free parking for stranded commuters and affected families in various parts of the country on July 22.
