Weekend hangs: Pride celebration, pickleball tournaments, and more events to join this June 20-22
Can you believe we're already in the second half of June? Time certainly flies!
The weekend is fast approaching, which means it's time for that time of the week to de-stress and recharge by doing fun things you like to do, like attending concerts, celebrating Pride Month either as a member or ally, or meeting your ARMY friends now that BTS is back.
From Pride celebrations and a French Food festival to fun behind-the-scenes activities, check out this weekend's events below:
June 21-22: SM Pickleball Superseries
Are you a fan of pickleball? Watch the final leg of SM Pickleball Superseries until June 22 at SM The Block from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. You may also watch the livestream on Puso Pilipinas, Smart Sports, and Toby’s Sports Facebook pages.
June 21: BTS Nationwide Fan Meet, fireworks display
OT7 is finally back, ARMY! In celebration of the comeback of the K-pop supergroup, SM Mall of Asia will hold a fireworks display and globe illumination on Saturday, June 21, at 7 p.m.
SM Malls nationwide are hosting a BTS Fan Meet starting June 21. Gather your friends to enjoy BTS-themed cup sleeve giveaways, pop-ups featuring official and fan-made merch, Random Play Dance showdowns, and more.
And if you're a BT21 fan, don't miss the interactive pop-up at SM Megamall until July 3. It will soon be making stops in South Luzon.
June 21: Kitchie Nadal's New Ground solo concert
Witness Kitchie Nadal, an OPM icon, perform live on Saturday, June 21, 8 p.m. at Araneta Coliseum. Sing your hearts out to her hits including Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin, Bulong!!!, Breathe, and Same Ground.
Guest artists include Zild, Skusta Clee, and P-pop girl group KAIA.
Ticket prices start at P1,600 for upper box seats. Seats in the lower box are at P2,200 for regular and P2,700 for premium. Patron B section is priced at P3,800, while the A section is at P4,800. Those who want a better view of the artist may opt for a VIP ticket at P5,900, or SVIP at P8,000, which comes with a meet and greet access.

June 21: Fête de la Musique's Main Stage
In celebration of World Music Day, Fête de la Musique is back on stage, kicking off on June 21 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City.
The artist lineup includes OPM stars like Armi Millare, Ely Buendia and The Methodists, The Ridleys, James Reid, Janine, as well as international acts Ito Kashitaro and Emile Londonien.
Admission is free.
June 21-22: French Food Festival in Makati
From wines, snacks, to desserts, explore and enjoy authentic French cuisine created by renowned chefs and local French restaurants. This is part of the Fête de la Musique: Un monde month-long celebration this June.
The festival is open from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
June 21: Spread the Love Pride celebration
If you're looking for more Pride events this month, join the fun at the Spread the Love celebration happening on June 21, 4 p.m., at Makati Avenue, Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City.
Included in the artist lineup are LGBTQIA+ stars KaladKaren, social media personality Sassa Gurl, O-Bar Divas, drag artists Brigiding, Viñas de Luxe, Taylor Sheesh, Precious Paula Nicole, DJ Xtina Superstar, and band Gigi Vibes.
