TRENDING: Paul Salas reacts to viral 'pa-fall' video with fan during Palawan event

Paul Salas may have just redefined what "pa-fall" is.

The actor made the rounds on social media as he drew laughs with his encounter with a fan during his performance of Need You by Ex Battalion in Palawan.

In a viral Facebook video, Salas is seen walking around as a female fan approaches him. He gives her a half-hug, placing his arm over her shoulder.

As the fan went back to her seat, Salas continued to walk around and then grabbed an empty chair as he passed by. But little did he know that the chair belonged to that fan, who absentmindedly sat there and fell on the ground.

As the fan's seatmates assisted her, Salas carried on with his performance and stood on the chair he had picked up like nothing happened.

The video has reached over 206,000 reactions (mostly "Haha"), 58,000 shares, and 6,700 comments. Users tagged Salas in the comments section.

Sure enough, the TV star caught wind of the situation and poked fun at himself over the hilariously awkward moment.

"Hindi naman kasi saakin ang upuan kuha ako ng kuha," he said in the caption in sharing the post.

"[P]asensya. minamahal kong binibini, at hindi ko napansin eh upuan mo pala 'yun. Bawi ako sayo. I love you! Mabuti at okay ka at sana nag-enjoy ang lahat ng taga-Brooke's Point, Palawan. Love you guys!"

Salas also reposted the content of the meme page PGAG, which metaphorizes the upcoming work week.

In the first panel, "me na ine-enjoy ang linggo" is depicted by Salas and the fan beside each other. In the second panel, "dumating ang lunes" is depicted by Salas grabbing the chair and the fan falling.

"Wag kasi magpa-fall kay Paul. Deliks! Aray ko!" he added in the comments section.

Salas began his career in 2004 through GMA Network's reality competition show StarStruck Kids and later appeared in Kapuso shows like Mulawin and Encantadia. He transferred to ABS-CBN in 2008 and starred in shows like Dyosa, Precious Hearts Romances Presents: My Cheating Heart, and several Maalaala Mo Kaya episodes. Salas returned to GMA Network in 2018, appearing in shows like Kara Mia, the local adaptation of Descendants of the Sun, and Lolong.

His movies include Shake, Rattle & Roll 2K5 and Extreme, Enteng Kabisote 3, In the Name of Love, Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi, Must Be... Love, and Everyday I Love You.
