The husband of influencer Emilie Kiser could face a criminal charge after their three-year-old son drowned in a pool.

In a statement on X, Chandler Police said it has completed its investigation into the death of Trigg Keiser on May 18.

"Following a thorough review of the evidence, investigators have recommended a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse against Brady Kiser," it said. "The case has now been submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for review."

Chandler Police previously said they were alerted about a possible drowning incident on May 12 at around 7 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they began performing CPR on Trigg until other responders arrived and gave him medical assistance immediately.

Trigg was rushed to a nearby hospital before he was transferred to Phoenix Children's Hospital. He remained in critical condition for days and eventually met his end on May 18.

As stated in a search warrant affidavit obtained by KPNX, Brady told authorities he was distracted by his and Emilie's infant son, Theodore, when Trigg went outside to play.

According to Brady, Emilie had gone out with friends and he was left to take care of their two kids alone.

He said he lost sight of Trigg for a few minutes, and when he went outside, he found the boy unconscious in the pool.

Emilie shares motherhood and lifestyle content with her husband, Brady Kiser, on her social media accounts. She has over 1.3 million followers on Instagram and 3.5 million on TikTok.

She hasn't commented publicly on Trigg's death.

Last May, she sued Arizona police and asked them to keep records about Trigg's death private.

The following month, a judge temporarily halted the release of the records in question, according to NBC News.
