The 19th Sta. Lucia Golf Tour kicks off this August
As it continues to hold the biggest golf event of the year, the Sta. Lucia Group promises a thrilling experience to its golf club members who are eager to clinch the coveted championship title along with the amazing perks and prizes that await.
The Sta. Lucia Golf Tour is an annual golf tournament that gathers teams representing all 11 Sta. Lucia operated golf clubs nationwide, namely, Pinewoods Golf and Country Club in Baguio City, Lakewood Golf and Country Club in Cabanatuan City, Beverly Place Golf and Country Club in Mexico Pampanga, Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas Cavite, Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in General Trias Cavite, Summit Point Golf and Country Club in Lipa Batangas, Royale Tagaytay Estates in Alfonso Cavite, Caliraya Springs Golf and Country Club in Cavinti Laguna, Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Cebu City, Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in Davao City, and South Pacific Golf and Country Club in Davao City.

The first leg of the 19th Sta. Lucia Golf Tour was held in Davao City last Aug. 6 to 8 simultaneously at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club and the South Pacific Golf and Country Club. It was a resounding success with 110 teams or 220 players participating with The Orchard members bringing home the most number of trophies in various divisions.
Moving up to the Visayas region, the second leg of the tournament will tee off from Sept. 3 to 5 at the Alta Vista Golf Country Club.

The conclusion of the tournament will be in its Luzon leg that will be hosted by Sta. Lucia’s iconic golf courses Orchard Golf and Country Club and Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club on Oct. 14-16. Around 110 teams and 220 players are expected to participate in this leg.
Preparations and finalizations for this tournament were done as early as May with Sta. Lucia Chairman Vicente Santos leading the discussion and planning along with the general managers of each participating golf club.

Prizes that are up for grabs in this year’s Sta. Lucia Tour are a round-trip ticket to Da Nang in each leg sponsored by Philippine Airlines, a golf package with airfare and accommodation at selected SotoGrande hotels of Sta. Lucia Land, as well as golf equipment and gear.
On top of these rewards is the honor and bragging rights of being the tournament champion and bringing back to their home club the Perpetual Trophy designed by well-known abstract artist Carlo Magno.

The 19th Sta. Lucia Golf Tour is presented by Sta. Lucia Realty and Development Inc. and Davies Paints Philippines, Inc., Philippine Airlines and co presented by TW Steels, Okada Manila, K&G Golf Apparel, Kart Plaza, and Ion Advanced Electrolyte Drink.
With the most number of golf clubs in the Philippines under its wing, Sta. Lucia is considered an instrumental force in the local golf scene.
Recently, The Orchard Golf and Country Club’s Palmer Course and the Nick Faldo Course in the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club have been included in the list of Philippine Best Golf Courses in 2024 by the World Golf Awards Inc.
At the same time, Sta. Lucia Chairman Vicente Santos was also named as 10th Most Powerful Person in Asian Golf.
