The much-anticipated biopic about Philippine president Manuel Quezon has an official release date.

TBA Studios announced on Friday, July 4, that Quezon starring Jericho Rosales is coming to PH theaters on Oct. 15.

"Don’t miss the epic conclusion to the trilogy that captured the nation," it captioned its post.

Quezon will follow the life of Manuel L. Quezon, who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944. It will highlight his tumultuous presidential campaign against Emilio Aguinaldo.

Benjamin Alves and Mon Confiado will reprise their roles from the films Heneral Luna and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral as Young Manuel L. Quezon and Emilio Aguinaldo, respectively.

Also included in the cast are Arron Villaflor as Joven Hernando, Cris Villanueva as adult Joven Hernando, Romnick Sarmenta as Sergio Osmeña, Karylle as Quezon's wife, Aurora Quezon, JC Santos as Manuel Roxas, and Jake Macapagal as Manuel Nieto. Iain Glen—known for his role as Jorah Mormont in the hit American TV series Game of Thrones—also joined the cast as Leonard Wood.

Bodjie Pascua, Angeli Bayani, Jojit Lorenzo, Joross Gamboa, Therese Malvar, Ana Abad Santos, Ketchup Eusebio, and Nico Locco will also play roles in the film.

Jerrold Tarog, who directed and co-wrote the two Bayaniverse movies Heneral Luna and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral, will be at the helm of Quezon, with Rody Vera, who co-wrote the screenplay.

After its October premiere, Quezon will be released internationally later this year.
