WATCH: Official trailer for TBA Studios' historical biopic 'Quezon' released
The full trailer for the upcoming historical biopic Quezon has been unveiled.
TBA Studios dropped the official trailer for the highly anticipated Manuel L. Quezon film, which would mark the conclusion to its so-called "Bayaniverse," a series of movies based on Philippine history. The trilogy includes the hits Heneral Luna (2015) and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral (2018), which were about Filipino heroes Antonio Luna and Gregorio Del Pilar, respectively.
Quezon will follow the titular Filipino lawyer and soldier who became the president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944. It will highlight his tumultuous presidential campaign against Emilio Aguinaldo.

Directed by Jerrold Tarog, who was also behind the two "Bayaniverse" movies, the latest entry will star Jericho Rosales as Quezon.
Joining Rosales in the cast are Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo, Benjamin Alves as a younger Quezon, Karylle Yuzon as Quezon’s wife Aurora Quezon, Romnick Sarmenta as Sergio Osmeña, JC Santos as Manuel Roxas, Game of Thrones star Iain Glen as Leonard wood, and Arron Villaflor and Cris Villanueva as the younger and older Joven Hernando, the only fictional character in the series.
Quezon will open exclusively in Philippine cinemas on Oct. 15 and internationally at a later date.
According to TBA Studios President and COO Daphne O. Chiu-Soon, the film production and distribution company will offer special ticket prices for students and teachers.
