'Superman' crew to visit the Philippines ahead of July world premiere
Something's coming to the Philippines: It's not a bird. It's not a plane. It's the Superman crew!
"From Metropolis to a sky near you, #LookUp to a super summer with our #Superman crew," distributor Warner Bros. Pictures said in a Facebook post on May 30.
In a video, stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult, as well as director James Gunn said they're visiting cities all over the world, with Manila as their first stop on June 19.
Other cities in the world tour include Rio de Janeiro (June 23), London (July 2), Paris (July 4), Los Angeles (July 7), New York (July 9), and Beijing (July 10).
"We will see you soon," Corenswet, who portrays the Man of Steel, said in the video showing snippets from the upcoming movie.
Superman is DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen.
"In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind," the description of its trailer read.
Joining Corenswet, Brosnahan, and Hoult are Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
Superman will hit theaters worldwide on July 11.
