Kris Aquino has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing surgical procedures.

In her Aug. 24 health update, the "Queen of All Media" expressed her gratitude to her doctors for "putting up" with her "never-ending" questions about her treatment plan.

"Thank you for caring enough about me, my sons and the improvement of my health to keep us in your prayers," she wrote.

On Aug. 22, Aquino shared that she had plans to undergo rehabilitation and physical therapy as part of her recovery from battling multiple autoimmune diseases. The TV host also said that she would be in isolation for the next six months.

At the time, she said that she specifically requested to have her surgical procedures done before Aug. 21, which is a commemoration of the death of her dad, Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

This came after her doctors found something "alarming" in her blood panel results on Aug. 19. Her doctors convinced her to have an ultrasound done, undergo three more tests, and see three different specialists.

Her doctors also discussed why she was getting these "difficult to detect possible health time bombs" and learned that the TV host was allergic to all blood thinners.

Aquino has been diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases. Last July 20, she said she already had 11 of them after two new ones were found.

She's also dealing with fibromyalgia, which triggers pain and tenderness throughout the body; polymyositis, an inflammatory disease that leads to muscle weakness; and mixed connective tissue disease, which combines disorders such as lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis.

She went to the United States in June 2022 to undergo treatment and returned to the Philippines in September 2024.
